Swedish Massage:

Swedish massage promotes deep

and stress in the body. The level
of pressure is adjusted
for individual needs.
Deep Tissue Massage :
This addresses the deeper tissues and releases deep muscular tension and pain.
It is effective in reducing chronic pain
such as headaches, low back pain,
and sciatica.
Acupressure:
An ancient Chinese
healing method that involves applying
pressure to certain meridian points on the
body to relieve pain. The human body has fourteen meridian that carry
energy throughout the body.
Reiki Massage:
This Japanese treatment balances the
energy within the body. Reiki transmits
energy by a light touch, placing the hands
gently in specific positions on the body to restore internal harmony of the body.
Shiatsu:
Shiatsu means “finger pressure.”
In shiatsu, pressure and stretching are the
key. The shiatsu practitioner uses palms, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, elbows, knees
and the feet to work on the body’s
acupuncture points along the meridians to stimulate the body’s energy flow.
Hot Stone:
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. The
flat stones are placed on key points on
the body or held by the therapist to
massage certain areas of the body. The
heat is both deeply relaxing and helps
tight muscles.
Ayurvedic:
Ayurveda is a natural health care system originating in India that incorporates massage and herbal remedies. Ayurvedic massage, also known as Abhyanga is usually performed by the therapist using a heated blend of herbal oils based on the ayurvedic system of humors.
